Kromski Sonata

I GOT IT!!!! I GOT IT!!!!! I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tis the Season!! I have the BEST husband EVER!!!!!

So Mike just couldn’t take it anymore and made me open my Christmas present tonight! I wanted to wait, but when I saw how eager he was and proud of himself, I just couldn’t resist :)

I CAN"T WAIT to try it out! But I think I'm gonna have to take a lesson from Jo before that happens.

He covered up the labels on the box so that I wouldn't know what it was until I pulled everything out of the box! So cute!!

My hunnie putting it all together for me :)

All put together with 3 bundles of Corriedale Roving!!

Warren Cable Beanie

This beanie was inspired by my husband and a sweater knit for him. The sweater was knit in Rev St st with 3 cables running down the center. Not only did I find it aesthetically pleasing but also symbolic of our family’s heritage. Warren is our family name and for the last several generations, Warrens have been bred in 3s. As a very close knit family, I felt the cables were good representation of those solid family ties and each cable representing a member of every generation (and hopefully the next generation to come).

My CS3 Package

So I participated in a Color Swap Package through Ravelry. My color was pink!!
I still LOVE the color pink, it will always be my favorite. :) No matter how many times I try to change things up I’m always drawn to pink.

My entire box and the card smelled of chocolates and mint! :) I received everything in a pink (silk?) Della Q drawstring bag.
I recieved:
“lace & eyelets 250 stitches to knit” by Interweave Press
2 skeins of Cascade Yarns Indulgence - 70% alpaca, 30% angora
A bag of Milk Chocolate M&Ms in pink!
Brocade Frog: Skinny Frog Fruit Dip Mix
Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee (mmmmmmm!!!!!!!!)
Seattle Chocolates
Salmon Mint Tin says “Don’t get vaught with fish breath!” lol
Earthly body Hemp Lip Balm with a heavenly scent (I’m totally addicted to chapstick. seriously, Mike says I have a problem :D lol)
And I got a beautiful handmade cowl!!

I love love love my awesome package with pink everything! Oh and by the way, I just came home from the gym and I just inhaled about half those calories that I burned off! :) haha! I had to really hold back on the almond roca so that it could make the picture. :)

Toe-Up Sock

One of the ladies in our local knitting group taught me how to make a toe-up sock!! It's actually my first sock ever, so I'm totally excited about that :) YAY!

The Who Hat

This was the project I made for my swap partner. I could have sworn I sewed those buttons on straight!! lol It drives me nuts to see them crooked!

Those are supposed to be owls, in case you couldn't tell.
